I was the heavier kid growing up. When Covid lockdown gave me time to start training, I threw myself into it — lost a lot of weight, and felt like I'd cracked the code.

But when I cut down, I had almost no muscle. I'd trained without structure and dieted without understanding nutrition. The result looked nothing like what I'd imagined. That frustration changed everything.

It led me to a coach, to Sport & Exercise Science at university, and eventually to coaching full-time at Levels — doing the work I love every single day.

What drives me isn't aesthetics. It's watching someone who had zero belief in themselves discover that the discipline they built in the gym starts to rewire everything else in their life too.

I keep learning because I know how much I didn't know at the start. The less I know about something, the more determined I am to understand it — because my clients deserve a coach who never stops improving.

Do I need to be near Levels Gym to work with you? +
Not at all. Online coaching is available worldwide — all you need is access to a gym and a phone or laptop. I'll build your programme around whatever equipment and schedule you have. In-person and hybrid coaching is based at Levels Gym in Scotland, but the majority of my clients train remotely.
I've had a coach before and it didn't work out. Why would this be different? +
It's one of the most common things I hear — and it's usually not the client's fault. Most disappointing coaching experiences come from generic programmes, lack of communication, and coaches who disappear after handing over a PDF. Everything I do starts with understanding your situation properly — your life, your schedule, your history — before anything is written. And I stay in it with you, not just at the start.
What does online coaching actually involve day-to-day? +
You'll receive a personalised training programme built around your goal, schedule, and available equipment, along with nutrition guidance and targets. We check in weekly — I review your progress, you tell me how things are going, and I adjust the plan accordingly. You have direct messaging access throughout, so you're never stuck or guessing.
How quickly will I see results? +
Honestly, it depends on your goal, starting point, and how consistently you apply the process — and I won't insult you with a made-up promise. What I can tell you is that clients who commit to the process properly typically notice meaningful physical changes within 8–12 weeks, and the energy, confidence, and mindset shifts often come even sooner than that.
What's the difference between Online, In-Person, and Hybrid coaching? +
Online is fully remote — programme, nutrition, check-ins, and messaging support, wherever you train. In-person is 1:1 sessions with me at Levels Gym, great for technique, accountability, and building real gym confidence. Hybrid combines both — regular in-person sessions at Levels with full online support between them. Not sure which is right for you? Just ask when you enquire.
What happens after I submit the enquiry form? +
I'll come back to you within 12 hours — usually much sooner. We'll have a conversation about your goal, your situation, and what you've tried before. There's no hard sell, no pressure. If it's a good fit, I'll outline exactly what working together would look like. If it's not right for you at this point, I'll tell you that too.
