I was the heavier kid growing up. When Covid lockdown gave me time to start training, I threw myself into it — lost a lot of weight, and felt like I'd cracked the code.
But when I cut down, I had almost no muscle. I'd trained without structure and dieted without understanding nutrition. The result looked nothing like what I'd imagined. That frustration changed everything.
It led me to a coach, to Sport & Exercise Science at university, and eventually to coaching full-time at Levels — doing the work I love every single day.
What drives me isn't aesthetics. It's watching someone who had zero belief in themselves discover that the discipline they built in the gym starts to rewire everything else in their life too.
I keep learning because I know how much I didn't know at the start. The less I know about something, the more determined I am to understand it — because my clients deserve a coach who never stops improving.

This fitness journey has truly changed my life — from my body to my general outlook on life. I have so much more determination now that I know what results can come from it if I really try. In 4 months I lost roughly 13kg and built a decent amount of muscle.
